Elijah

Keryn Dizon (Otis Parsons School of Design)

Elijah was born in 2007 from a desire for refined yet functional clothing. Keryn, who has been designing clothing for over ten years, was able to embrace her passion for the craft of making clothes, while fulfilling a need in her own wardrobe for unfussy luxury. As a New Yorker and a busy mother of two, she understands the rigors that a modern woman's wardrobe endures. Elijah blends chic elegance with ease and practicality.

Always conscious of the contours of a woman's body and the sculptural aspect of her textiles, Keryn drapes each design. The three dimensional artistry of each garment evolves from Keryn's interactions with her materials.

Elijah exudes chic sensuality, a sense of history, and a return to the craft of making clothes.

Abigail Glaum-Lathbury

Abigail Glaum-Lathbury's collection is an investigation of beauty, coaxed from the unlikely. Her work invokes the other worldly through an ongoing exploration of surface and texture. Both performance costume and clothing design provide Abigail a means to express these interests through the body in movement and the living form.

Ms. Glaum-Lathbury graduated from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. In 2005, Abigail launched her eponymous ready-to-wear collection which is now carried at exclusive boutiques across the US and abroad. Her collections feature silhouettes ranging from the bizarre to the beautiful. Abigail's work has been recognized by Lucky, Venus, Mule, and Chicago Magazines, as well as by Women's Wear Daily and numerous online fashion publications.

Abi Ferrin

Abi Ferrin believes in empowering women, and above all else sells freedom and purpose. Her first designs emerged from her mother's sewing machine 22 years ago when she was six years old. She was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and is a descendant of the first pioneers to the beautiful Teton frontier. The freedom that these settlers sought is still something that defines her and emerges in the clothing she designs.

This can also be seen in the diversity of the various women she dresses including Hollywood's finest celebrities, Texas Women from socialites to college students, and Saudi Arabian princesses. She is passionate about empowering women through her designs, and has used her company, with the help of her sister Kelly Ferrin, as a tool to assist and finance causes worldwide which help oppressed and abused women overcome these atrocities and become self-sufficient members of their societies.

While empowering women worldwide through her fashion business, Abi Ferrin and her diverse team also seek to empower their equally diverse base of customers. The Abi Ferrin motto is "Fashion with Freedom and Purpose." It is this purpose that drives the brand and her design aesthetic. Women, of all ages and races, who wear the collection frequently comment that they have never felt better about themselves then when they don Abi Ferrin's female flattering designs.

On January of 2007, Abi Ferrin accepted her prize package for winning "Texas Next Top Designer." Other awards she has won include CBS News 'Texan with Character', Modern Luxury "Fresh Face in Fashion", and D Magazine's "Top 5 Stylemakers in Dallas Fashion." Ferrin's designs have been spotted on Molly Sims, Roslyn Sanchez, Kimberly and Alana Stewart, among many others, and she was involved with style elements of Jaime Foxx music video 'Unpredictable' where she got to work with famed producer Hype Williams.

Yoana Baraschi

Born in Bucharest, Romania, Yoana Baraschi was raised in a family of artists, rich in culture and style. Following in her father's footsteps, Yoana studied drawing and sculpture from a very early age.

First design job was in Paris working for Emmanuelle Khahn as an embroidery designer. During her four years in Paris, she also worked at Studio de Style Jean Azel as an associate designer on collections such as Leonard, Cacharel, Mugler, and Façconable.

In 1983, Yoana moved to New York where she began to work as an illustrator for WWD and continued her work in textile design for various studios. She then shifted her focus in 1986 when she began working as a shoe designer for Mario Valentino and was introduced to the factories of Napoli and trade shows of Milan. During her many travels through Italy, Yoana was exposed to their fine tradition of craftsmanship, working with the best in the trade, which gave her a strong reference point for her career. It was during this time that she started I.B. Design Studio, which was created to translate European concepts for an American market. Her work had her traveling extensively throughout Hong Kong, Paris, Romania, California and India. It was in India that Yoana formed her strong sense of color and love for traditional artisanal techniques, which can be found heavily throughout her own collection.

Yoana also worked as a Creative Director for Betsey Johnson. She was heavily influenced by Betsey's own originality and vision. It was this time period that allowed Yoana the courage to live her own vision and believe that she could start her own collection, which launched in 2002.
